The Columbia University Club Application Process

Becoming a member of the Columbia Club of New York, at the Penn Club, is easy, and we’re here to help you through every step of the process.

How do I become a new member of the Club?

All you need to do is complete the online application below or the common Columbia University Club/Penn Club application that can be found here. If completing the common application, be sure to specify if you are joining the Columbia University Club or affiliating with both clubs. Please return the common application to [email protected]

You can also send a request to the Membership Office at [email protected] if you prefer to receive a complete membership packet by mail.

How much are the Columbia University Club dues?

No initiation fee.

Effective July 1, 2021*:

• $50 ~ Applicants 65+ years of age, undergraduates (proof of enrollment is required),spouses, parents, CU employees and active military
• $85 ~ All other applicants

* The dues listed above do not include sales tax (8.875%). Clubhouse access is part of the Penn Club affiliation.

How do I become reinstated as a member of the Club?

If you are a former member and would like to apply for reinstatement to the Columbia University Club, please select Reinstatement under application type in Section A below. If you are planning to affiliate with the Penn Club, please complete the common club application that can be found here and return it to [email protected].  Active Columbia University Club of New York membership is required to be eligible for Penn Club affiliate membership.
